I’m a fan of the work of Diana and David von Glahn. They’re the duo behind classy yet fun television and DVD series that promote Catholic pilgrimage sites from around the world under the guise of The Faithful Traveler. I’ve never been to the Holy Land, but I’ve seen the Holy Land through the von Glahn’s wonderful series.
I’m also a fan of the new evangelization and let me tell you — as a writer and editor — I know that a published work of any kind doesn’t come cheap in Catholic media. It takes hard work, and lots of prayer. But it also takes supporters. The creative process is hard, and yet, beautiful, and we need each other. Diana, in her own way, offered support to me when I was in the midst of writing my last book, and I am grateful for her generosity toward me back then.
Just like I am grateful for all the friends who pray for the apostolate I work for as a writer, speaker, and podcaster, I am commending the von Glahn’s to your prayers, today, too.
